Is auto blog dangerous for your Adsense account?
Many people are saying that they can create money from autoblog. How do yo do it? Basically you are using a plugin where it will fetch feed and insert it as a post to the blog. The plugin will only fetch the feed manually, so you need to set a cron job with your hosting or use another plugin which will run the feed fetcher automatically. This this plugin you can have many post in a day, and usually you will have lots of page indexed by Google. Your traffic usually will come from search engine, because they thinks that you have regular content.
Is it a good idea making money from autoblog?
For me it’s not a good idea. See this thread where the poster said that he lost his Adsense account due to his autoblog. Here’s why it is not a good idea:
- Autoblog makes very very very low CPM. This means that you need lots of click to make it a dollar. But if you have many of this autoblog, you might get more money. Why because I think google knows that is autoblog for some reason.
- It violates Google TOS. Can you see which one does autoblog violates?
- Matt Cutts has taken an obvious steps for autoblog. He invites Google users to report autoblog if you run across a site that you consider spammy and has adSense on it. Report it to Google by clicking on the “Ads by Google” link and click “Report a policy violation regarding the site or ads you just saw”. So you can have your Adsense account banned if someone report you to Google.
